100 years of adoption

Join one of our online information sessions to help you decide if now is a good time to keep going with your adoption journey.

Attending one of our online adoption information events is a convenient way to find out more about adoption and our children’s charity.

Join online from the comfort of your home, ideally a camera-enabled device, and allow our team, which will be led by our experienced enquiry team members and a social worker, to share a presentation, walk you through the adoption process, and explain the ongoing support we offer.

Please be assured that there will be no pressure to proceed to the next step following the event – Adoption Matters will walk alongside you at your pace, with honest guidance and helpful information.

Events typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on participation, and they are open to anybody who is interested in adoption that lives in our geographical coverage area, which includes:

- The North West
- The North East
- Yorkshire & the Humber
- Stoke
- Staffordshire
- Shropshire

If you live just outside of these areas, we may still be able to assist you, so please do contact our team to discuss.

If you’re considering adoption as a solo adopter, you may invite one person to join you at all Adoption Matters events, including future training sessions if you go on to adopt with us. This can be a family member or a friend. Please include their details on your registration form.

Start your adoption journey with PACT at an information event

At Parents And Children Together (PACT), we believe that every child deserves the warmth and stability of a loving home. As an independent adoption charity, we've been consistently rated outstanding by Ofsted since 2014, a testament to our commitment to finding permanent families for children waiting in care.

Join us at our in-person West Susex  information event, where you'll discover the joys of parenting through adoption and the comprehensive support we offer to our families for life. Hear firsthand from our adopters about their experiences, engage with our senior social workers, and get all your questions answered.

We're particularly focused on connecting adoptive parents with children who typically wait longer to be adopted, including those aged three years or older, siblings who need to stay together, Black and mixed ethnicity children, and those with additional needs or disabilities. However there are children of all ages waiting for a family so please get in touch if you want to find out more about adopting with PACT.

PACT's mission is to create families, not just find them. We're here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring that you have the resources and support you need to nurture a thriving and loving adoptive family.
