In England 3,000 children are waiting for adoptive parents. Could adoption be right for you and your family?
Early Permanence placements allow babies and young children to find foster carers who are ready to adopt them later, if the courts decide they cannot be cared for permanently by their birth family.
This section takes you through the adoption process stage by stage with practical information, interactive exercises and audio and video guides.

CCS Adoption is running the next special in-person event at Henbury Village Hall, Bristol. Book yourself a place, and you can explore adoption, the children who need adoptive families and CCS Adoption – the region’s only Ofsted “Outstanding” adoption agency.
There will be a short presentation with their expert adoption team, who will be able to answer any questions you might have and tell you more about the lifelong support and training they provide. You’ll find out what the next steps are if you decide to adopt a child or siblings.
You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from their adopters and learn about their experiences.
Please be aware they only work with families living in the West and South West areas of England in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
